586 Jenschke Ln, Poteet, TX 78065

Property Description

This 124.96 acre ranch sits in the small community of Rossville, Texas just west of Poteet. It is one of the prettiest oak filled ranches we have had the pleasure of listing. The hardwood trees on this ranch are Live Oak, Post Oak, Cedar Elm, and Hickory trees. There is also a nice mix of South Texas brush. This area of Atascosa County consists of very sandy soil which is conducive to the conditions that Oak trees thrive. The ranch has a small barndominium that is approximately 870 sq. ft. built in 2020. The cabin has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a small kitchen/living area. The cabin is completely insulated with spray foam, lending to easily cooled or heated comfort-controlled conditions. This cabin is perfect for getaways, as well as it is great for a number of hunters to stay in during season. Other improvements on the property include a nice fully enclosed metal barn/shop that is 1500sq.ft. It also has a concrete slab floor and is great for storing equipment or feed. There is a water well on the property that supplies water to the cabin, multiple water troughs across the property, and a nice stock tank. If you love the outdoors, this is the place. Not only are the oaks beautiful, as well as the spring wildflowers and bluebonnets, but the ranch is full of game to enjoy. If you enjoy shooting you can sight in your rifle on the range set up behind the house. Targets can be set up from 50 yards to 450 yards. Wildlife on the ranch includes whitetail deer, turkeys, quail, dove, wild hogs, and a number of other small game. This ranch may also be appealing to developers because of its location, size, and beauty. Please give me a call with any questions you may have.
